WHAT CAUSED YOUR MACHINE TO MALFUNCTION?
Any of this reasons could be why your machine is having issues. The inlet might be clogged or having issues, the bearing or seals might be damaged, a small switch might be broken, or there might be a problem with the transmission or pump. If you want your machine to be saved, this problems needs to be worked on immediately.
It can be a little complex and confusing to actually point out were the issue is coming from by yourself. If you destroy the other parts in this process or get the wrong part, DIY might cost you more at the end.

KNOWN ISSUES WITH REPAIR AND TROUBLESHOOTING
CLAMORING AND LOUD RUMBLING
If there’s a loud noise emanating from your washer, and you’ve checked and it has a balanced load, the problem might be due to any of these: tube bearing, drive and pump belt, transmission, pump, bearings or the shock absorbers. You’ll need to get a new pump impeller, if it has seized or are worn out. This goes also for almost all the other parts. You might just need to repair some of them or clean and tighten some.
IT’S NOT COMING ON
Either your fuse, timers or switches are having issues if your machine is refusing to come on, even though it is connected to the socket. All you need to do is change the burned fuse and faulty timers for your machine to start working again.
If it comes on and it’s not rotating well, the cogs or transmission might have been destroyed. If it doesn’t wash your clothes well, it might be as a result of a bad transmission.
IT’S NOT DRAINING OR FILLING
Your machine get filled with cold or hot water by the inlet valve for every rotation. This inlet is controlled by a pressure switch or an electric switch. Your washing machine might not fill or can overflow due to these faulty parts.
A certified professional should perform a test using a live voltage test if it’s having issues. You’ll have to get a completely new inlet valve set, seeing as the solenoid and faulty switches that operates them are not sold differently.
SHOULD I THINK ABOUT GETTING A NEW ONE?
Most model of washing machine are not made to last more than eight years, but it can last you for at least eleven years if you only do just one load of laundry on a normal day.
